September 2008
Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series will feature Air Quality Sciences (AQS) CEO Marilyn Black on September 17.
Black, who will speak at 4:30 PM in LeCraw Auditorium, directs all of AQS' scientific studies. A leading expert in characterizing indoor air pollutants and their sources for more than 18 years, she focuses on working with manufacturers in the design and qualification of low-emitting products.
Black also founded GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), an industry-independent, non-profit organization that oversees the GREENGUARD Certification Program. GEI establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings.
Held by the College of Management and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the weekly IMPACT series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and members of the Atlanta community a free opportunity to network and learn from high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business leaders.
