U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao will speak at Georgia Tech College of Management on July 30, discussing federal workforce and career development initiatives.
Her lecture, which will run from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in LeCraw Auditorium, is sponsored by the National Association of Asian American Professionals (Atlanta), Georgia Tech’s Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, and the College of Management.
Secretary Chao will discuss such federal programs as the Opportunity Conference, APA Federal Career Summit, Employer Compliance Assistance, and Workforce Innovation. She will also share her personal story and life’s work to help inspire students.
The event is free and open to the public, but attendees must RSVP at the NAAAP site.
