Professor Cheol S. Eun is the Thomas R. Williams Chairholder. He has served on the faculties of the University of Minnesota and the University of Maryland. He was also a visiting professor at the Wharton School.

Dr. Eun is an active scholar who has published in the top journals in his field: Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Finance, Oxford Economic Papers, Journal of Portfolio Management, and Management Science among others. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance, Global Finance Journal, Journal of International Finance and Advances in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management. He is a six time recipient of Teaching Excellence Awards at the University of Maryland. He has served as a consultant to many organizations, such as the World Bank.
